iX Challenge: Repeatable Adversarial Evaluation of Physical Tamper Protection for Defence Electronics

Innovate UK Innovation Exchange (iX) challenge set by Ethicronics Ltd, a Cambridge hardware assurance firm. It wants an adaptable, instrumented test capability that applies controlled interference to measure how well physical tamper protection for electronics holds up in transit and storage, with repeatable results. Applicants submit a solution to the challenge by 5pm on 6 November 2026. Shortlisted applicants pitch to the challenge holder between 25 November and 3 December 2026, and the selected solution provider can apply for up to £60,000 of Innovate UK grant funding for a three-month project starting by 1 March 2027 and finishing by 31 May 2027. Successful applicants also get Innovate UK Business Connect and technical support.
