About this grant
Mid Suffolk District Council Community Nature Recovery Small Grants pay up to 100% of costs, to a maximum of £2,000, for community projects that help local wildlife recover. Examples include community orchards, tree and hedge planting, wildflower meadows, pond restoration, bird and bat boxes, improving public access, interpretation, and tools and equipment for habitat management, as revenue, capital or pre-project costs. Running costs are not funded. Projects must support the Mid Suffolk Biodiversity Action Plan and deliver both biodiversity and community benefits. Small grants are open until March 2028, applicants hear within 14 days, and projects must be completed within 12 months. Email the form with accounts, policies and quotes to the Grants Team.
