Medway Partners for Growth (PFG) Grant

About this grant

Medway Council's Partners for Growth scheme gives small grants to small and medium-sized businesses in Medway that want to grow and create jobs. First-time applicants can request up to £2,000; businesses that received a PFG grant before May 2025 can apply for an additional £1,000. Up to £2,000 can fund a new staff role, tools that directly drive revenue growth, extra product capacity, expansion into new markets or training linked to job creation. Up to £1,000 can fund efficiency equipment, automation software, product innovation or training. Routine costs such as stock, rent and business rates, vehicle purchases, and marketing campaigns without a cost breakdown and clear sales objectives are not funded. Apply through the council's online form with a two-year profit and loss forecast; the council aims to decide within 60 days. The scheme stays open until funds are allocated, and the council reports high demand.
