UK-registered SMEs can apply for support worth up to £315,000 to develop a climate tech First-of-a-Kind (FOAK) commercial project. This is an expression of interest stage; companies successful here could be invited to apply for a larger grant through FOAK builder phase two. Total fund: £770,000.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is running a UK Shared Prosperity Fund scheme that supports capital projects, including the purchase of larger pieces of machinery and equipment fixed in place at business premises, upgrades and improvements to non-moveable fixed assets, repurposing of buildings for farm diversification, and energy efficient products and measures.

Energy Efficiency Worcestershire helps eligible SMEs identify practical opportunities to reduce energy costs, improve efficiency and strengthen business performance through expert, independent advice. Eligible businesses receive a professional on-site energy efficiency assessment from an independent specialist, including analysis of energy consumption and costs, identification of energy-saving opportunities, estimated savings, and a prioritised action plan. Additional specialist support may also be available, including detailed energy analysis, staff workshops, grant application support, and post-assessment implementation support. Support is provided at no cost to eligible businesses.
