We didn't build FindMyGrant because it sounded like a good idea. We built it because we desperately needed it ourselves.
The gap nobody talks about
We're founders. We've been through the accelerators — the pitch decks, the demo days, the introductions to investors. And in all of it, nobody ever sat us down and talked about grants. The one kind of capital you never give equity away for, and never pay back, is the one nobody teaches you to win.
The grind
So we learned it the hard way. Hours every week scrolling fragmented government websites, deciphering eligibility criteria, discovering funds a week after they closed. The money was out there — finding it was the job nobody had time for.
The proof
The hard way worked. We've written the applications, sat the assessments, and won hundreds of thousands of pounds in grant funding across multiple industries. FindMyGrant is the tool we wished existed on day one — and it's the exact platform we still use to fund our own ventures today.
