About this grant

The Northumberland Small Business Service (NSBS) is a fully-funded service delivering business support and grant funding to micro, small and medium businesses, social enterprises, sole traders, and entrepreneurs across Northumberland. It offers four strands: Growth & Resilience Support, Enterprise and Start Up Support, Food & Drink Sector Support, and a Farming Advisory Service. Registered businesses are matched with a dedicated Business Adviser who develops a tailored growth plan. The programme also provides access to grant funding for innovative infrastructure to support business growth and job creation in rural communities. The programme runs from April 2026 to March 2029.
