About this grant

Bristol City Council grants of £2,500 to £10,000 to help small organisations start trading from an empty commercial unit in Bristol city centre or on one of 46 designated high streets across the city. The grant covers approved works and purchases needed to get the new premises running, such as physical works to the unit and essential equipment. Applications opened on 5 January 2026 and close at 11.59pm on 30 November 2026, or earlier if all funding is allocated. Successful applicants must start trading from the property by 26 February 2027.
