About this grant
Grants to organisations normally up to £10,000 over one year for practical interventions that promote the inclusion and integration of disabled people into employment, such as job coaching, work experience, specialist equipment or training, and information resources. Priority goes to local organisations that employ disabled people or have a significant proportion of disabled trustees. The fund was set up after the closure of Disability Association Carlisle & Eden. Applications go through the Foundation's online portal and are decided by quarterly grants committees (next closing dates 30 October, 8 November and 18 December 2026 depending on area).
